Youâve arrived in Bali and youâre overwhelmed by the heat, gorgeous surroundings and the spice... You need to jump on an important call but youâre fighting 10 other people in your hotel for the 5 Mbps. Not ideal.
Donât worry, there are so many great spots dotted around Bali where you can happily crack on with your work without the Wifi worry. Hereâs a few of them.
ULUWATU
Uluwatu is my favourite place in Bali, so I got around. I tested out the Wifi and ate some great food.
It's known for its great surf and chill vibes. These are the places you donât want to miss when you visit Uluwatu.
Ulu Garden
I spent a lot of time and money here! Ulu Garden is a lovely, open space that houses a mixture of tables and sofas. There are a number of outlets near the sofas, so you can easily charge your tech. Youâre surrounded by greenery that instantly allows you to reset, relax and recharge. The food is next level. I slowly worked my way through the menu (Iâm obsessed). The best thing about Ulu Garden is the people. The people who work at Ulu are the dream and are some of the nicest people Iâve met. They made me feel comfortable and it really does feel like a home away from home. My productivity increased immensely.
Youâll get to talk to quite a few other Digital Nomads if you turn up to Ulu.
Ulu also hosts a mixture of different events throughout the week, from traditional Balinese dancing to live music and Sunday markets - youâll be coming back for it all.
Itâs your one stop shop.

The Loft Uluwatu
It was a rainy day in Uluwatu and the hotel Wifi wasnât cutting it. So I went on a Wifi hunt and stumbled across The Loft. Luckily I arrived for its opening and managed to secure a spot. It got busy relatively quickly with other Digital Nomads - so arrive early doors. Itâs a large open space with outlets close to all tables and super quick Wifi đ. I had a banging Potato roti and Iced Matcha Latte and got comfortable for the next few hours. The space is indoors, but they keep the front doors open so you can watch the world go by or in my case watch the torrential rain.

The Space
You can do a lot at The Space. Thereâs a cafe/restaurant that is indoor and outdoor, a co-working space with meeting rooms and call booths and showers. And finally thereâs two Yoga Shalaâs and a Sound Dome đ§ââď¸. You could be here from morning to evening easily. If this is a bit of you, The Space offers a range of different memberships so you can really take advantage of everything that it has to offer. Youâll be surrounded by like minded people in a beautiful spot, what more do you want?

CANGGU
Canggu is a busy and bustling spot in Bali. Itâs known for its bars, restaurants and great Beach Clubs, you wonât get bored.
Tropical Nomad Co-working
I stumbled across Tropical Nomad Co-working by accident. I was only in Canggu for a few days, so I was super lucky to find this spot. The space is focused around a green centre thatâs inhabited by Palm trees and Cacti. Surrounding the green core are sofas that housed many Digital Nomads. There is also an inside area to Tropical Nomad Co-working that hosts a large working table. The vibes here are immaculate and the food is ridiculous.

SEMINYAK
The Koop
I was too busy devouring the food and completely forgot to take photos of the spaceâŚ
Visit the Koop and you will understand.
The Koop is a great little CafĂŠ in Seminyak, full of healthy food and drinks but is a nice quiet place to work from. Climb up the stairs to find a spot at the top of the cafĂŠ to get started on your work day. Once youâve cracked your work, you can take a 10 minute walk to Seminyak Beach - itâs all about balance!

UBUD
Ubud is known for its rain. So itâs important that you find some great places to work from to keep you out of the cold. Luckily my hotelâs Wifi was strong and saw me through the 24 hours of heavy rain. I stayed at Surawan Bisma Ubud. The Wifi was surprisingly strong, the hotel workers were the loveliest and youâre surrounded by rice paddies, so the environment is (emoji).
Hubud
I never managed to visit Hubud but I have heard great things from a variety of people. Hubud offers a space for co-working and co-living. They look like they know what theyâre doing. Hubud offers a range of memberships to fit you. When I head back to Bali, I will definitely be checking it out - so Iâll let you know what I think soon!
GILI ISLANDS
The Gili islands were gorgeous. While the islands excelled in scenery they lacked a strong Wifi. Luckily I found some great spots to see me through.
Hello Capitano (Gili T)
Hello Capitano is a lovely little spot on the main strip that looks out onto the ocean. Thereâs an indoor area that hosts strong air con and an outdoor rooftop area which is perfect for people watching. Thereâs plenty of space to get comfortable and set up for the day. Itâs a light space that will keep you focused and will get those things ticked off of your list.

Sharkbites (Gili Air)
Apologies for the bad photo, I was obsessed by the colour of my Dragon Fruit Smoothie and didnât take a great staged picture. Sharkbites leaks out onto the beach. Listening to the waves and working on your business is sweet. The Wifi is strong when youâre sat in the restaurant itself, but it does waver the closer you are to the beach. A good little spot if you need Wifi, quick.
Wifi: 3/4 stars (depending if youâre sat on the beach or not)
