HO CHI MINH CITY EDITION | Where’s the Wifi?

Ho Chi Minh City is where it’s at. The hustle and bustle is real. From the crazy no rules roads to the torrential rain (rainy season lasts 9 months of the year!), this city will keep you on your toes - I love it.
I went into Ho Chi Minh City with no expectations and little research and my mind was blown. There’s so much to see, so much to do and of course, great Wifi.
Here’s some of the best spots that I found:

The Workshop

The Workshop is a warehouse-esque café. It’s a bit hard to find but once you’ve scouted it out, you’ll be happy. You can sit and work from anywhere but they do have a space dedicated to working. This area is always full of other Digital Nomads so arrive early to avoid missing out. The internet is extremely quick and there are outlets dotted around everywhere, so you can charge to your heart’s content. I’m not a caffeine kinda girl, but they are known for their coffee. So get your caffeine fix here.

Godmother

You’ve got to work for your Godmother. You’ll need to climb a few flights of steps to find this lovely and boujee spot. It’s a gorgeous café that is quite cosmopolitan. It is slightly more expensive than other cafés, so I would recommend coming here for an end of the week treat. The space was quiet, there weren’t too many other Digital Nomads. This is a good spot for getting shit done.

Beanthere Cafe

Beanthere Cafe is something special. Hidden down an alleyway, you open a gate to a gorgeous green area. Walking into the space you get hit with an upbeat and lively environment. Loads of people choose this as their main working spot. The Wifi was quick even though there were crowds of people using it. The unique thing about Beanthere Cafe is that it has an area called ‘DIY House’ hosting creative workshops for everyone - it will help get your creative juices flowing!

Okkio

Okkio is a super cute, hole in the wall café. It’s an extremely popular spot so get there early. There were lots of people who walked in and straight out as there were no seats available. Okkio has a lovely vibe that makes you want to get your work done, you’ll be surrounded by other Digital Nomads and you’ll all be creating in the same space together.
